After so many requests over the years, I've fixed it so we can now host animated (moving) avatars. However this facility is for the moment only available to life members. For an example of a moving avatar..Look at my bauble ;) .

I found out how to disable them :D
In firefox...
type about:config in the address bar and find image.animation_mode. double click it and set its value to none. :xThumb::whistle:

Looking for the one now ...
So either it's just Kermit saying Merry Christmas
Or it's "JJ and I " driving ...when holidaying ... BUT on this one he might throw me through the window ... any idea why? lol!
Or the last one ... The way JJ copes with me when I have a too big mouth !!

animations everywhere are a dyslexic's nightmare Jim

Not just dyslexics. When ever anything moves not directly in my line of site it distracts the hell out of me. I really can't read anything if there is something moving just out of my line of site. I have abandoned some news sites over moving adverts/animations in the past.

@Jim, I know you mean well BUT it is a flaming nuisance! A lot of us block ads because they are ruddy distracting, and the large signatures as well, so I'm now gonna try to block these too. :xcool:
