How long does a leisure battery last without charging? i know it depends on useage but if you only used power in the evenings for tv lights etc for a couple of hours each evening, were thinking of staying in our motorhome for a month or so without an elec hookup, any advice would be appreciated.
thanks

Depends on a few things.

How big is your battery bank?

Are you going to be moving around or parked up in one place?

Do you have any solar?

If you just want to park up for a month, switch the engine off and hope for the best you'll be sitting in the dark in about a week tops unless you have a huge battery bank which you don't because if you did you wouldn't need to ask the question. (y)

If you move on every couple of days you'll be fine. The engine will recharge them enough.

If you have solar then you'll be able to stay in one place longer. We've been off grid for a week or so in the middle winter and our solar coped fine. In the summer the solar generates more than we use.

4 and many as a tugger
When we had a week in a caravan with a 110amp battery and no hook up.
3 people showered every day and 2 - 3 hrs tv a night. But that was in summer so little use of the lights.
Hope this helps.

If you only have one battery of around 100a/h and it is in good condition 3-4 days now its getting dark eairler.
