The London LEZ that extends basically to the M25, does not come into effect until October
Check if your vehicle is compliant here

Abby Wood can be used by any vehicle until that date.

There are a number of other campsites beyond the M25 that are close to rail stations that give fast access to central London,
One of which is at Bearstead it takes one hour and costs £8.

Using the tool you linked to, my 2004 hymer is charged at £300 per day to enter the LEZ, personally I'm not sure I'd want to risk travelling to Abbey Wood between now and October to find out if that's correct or not.

My car which is a Skoda green line 1.6 which only attracts £32 road tax duty because of low emissions is not exempt from LEZ, but my motorhome on a 2.3 fiat ducato, which is a lot more road tax is exempt?

One does around 50mpg the other around 30mpg if lucky !! Doesn't make sense !!

I believe that Boris laid out the zone!
The Ultra Low Emission Zone is a fee charged to the most polluting vehicles in Central London. Plans were laid out under Boris Johnson and introduced by Sadiq Khan in April 2019. It led to the number of the worst polluting vehicles dropping from 35,600 to 23,000 and a 20% reduction in emissions in Central London.

i belive the original congestion charge was set out by ken livingstone when boris came to power he scrapped the western section everything else ulez is solely of mr kahns making

The rot started with Jen Livingstone. inventing the congestion charge. Which now has more veicles 'entering' the zone than it did when it started?

Past users of the Dartford Crossing or the current ULEZ seem to have been targeted.

Neither of them can lie in bed straight & are not averse to illegally providing your details to others .

It isn't mean to .It is a tax to earn them money.If it was to do with emissions & the environment it would be a straighte " only euro 7+ " can enter with no exemptions for any type of vehicle.

If you can "pay to pollute" ,which even from the congestion charge implementation many can afford as it goes straight against there taxor there company pays it, then it has nothing to do with saving the environment

To be fair the Dartford Tunnel and the ULEZ are run by the same people, so they have only passed your details from one department to another

Cheapest way is to downplate anything over 3.5tonnes - for our 2011 Euro 4 not having to pay an extra £100 a day for Abbey Wood would pay for downplating in the first weekend
