Hi Folks

In case you are not aware here is an extract from the website:

The Mayor has confirmed the Low Emission Zone will now affect larger vans, minibuses, motor caravans and other specialist vehicles from 3 January 2012. If you have a vehicle which was due to be affected by the LEZ from 4 October 2010, you now have an extra 15 months to take action

If you wish to check whether you vehicle complies or will comply you can check here:

It's seems to only take into account diesel or biodiesel. Any vehicle which is Euro3 compliant is OK. Euro 3 is manufatured from Jan 2001 for vehicles over 3.5t and Oct 2002 from vechiles under 3.5t. (unless the vehicle has been modified to meet this criteria) according to their info.

If you are running petrol or LPG seems like you are exempt regardless of size if you are classed as a motorcaravan (classed as HGV if over 3.5t).

That's correct Paul. The regulations are concerned only with particulates from diesel engines and no other types or potential sources of pollution.
