Going to Spain and Frech Riviera on 22/3 for 9 weeks for first time abroad in new Bessacar. Have done lots of homework but still unsure of position with ensuring I have an acceptable method of replacing gas required on the trip. To start I currently have two full 6kg calor gas bottles. Should I be leaving one at home and taking a fresh bottle capable of being filled in Spain(my first country) and taking whatever adaptors I will require for Spain and France. Can anyone help with detail of what is the best preparation and a contact name and number for anyone who has successfully passed this "baptism of fire". Thanks in anticipation for any good samaritan.

Hi Lexus

The easiest option would be to have your existing set up converted to gas-low refillable then you just top up at the service station where you see the GPL sign. I think the other option is to fit a different pipe from your regulator and then get a bottle locally when you are away which can then be exchanged if required.
