The vets said at the time if he is alive by Christmas it probably not cancer he is still with us.

Update.
Lewie's been on steroids for 6 months now & has been so so much better, Just been for a checkup today & the vet is very pleased with him but will be on them for the rest of his life. All seemed well But our rescued little girl (Persian) has been diagnosed with pancreatitis & is quite poorly,

she's an mature lady of nearly 14 now
