I have e&p levelling and then had vb air suspension fitted
When you push auto level it takes an age waiting for air to drop before auto level.
What do you push to auto level without dropping the air, they told me when I had it fitted but have forgot. No one in until Monday

Service? Can’t remember if it will auto level nut I put it into service when I want to manually control the jacks.

As chipster said service mode if manual levelling but I sometimes, like to auto level quickly without waiting for air drop. Like it did before vb air fitted

We just push the "auto" button as you get a better chance of levelling on uneven ground, if you don't want it to drop the air I would think you just use manual.

sue tells me that I’m always in a hurry except when she wants things doing, so I’ll just have to be patient and wait, thank you all for help

You want the air out before levelling. Yes it takes a little while, but it gets the levelled vehicle lower and as funflsir says, gives you every chance of having enough ram travel to get full level on uneaten ground.

I assume you have full air susspension, rather than air assist on the rear axle only ?
