Letter from ADAC (Translation help)

Just received the attached letter from ADAC. Can any of you brilliant people translate it? I just do not have a clue.

Got the same letter today & used Google translate,from what I can gather, due to not having a permanent residence in germany it looks like our ADAC + membership will not be automaticcly renewed butreplaced by ADAC classic.Need to get better clarification ,but it looks like we will only be covered if travelling in Germany?. Anyone know different?.TIA.

that is also my understanding and the date in the 2nd paragraph is the date you loose the plus membership..

Just had the same letter. As the replacement cover will not be of use do I need to do anything other than not pay my renewal?

ADAC usually send out a reminder a month before renewal date,
I will call them and cancell when that arrives, that will be march 2021,

Also got my letter this morning, my membership runs out next April 2021. Said they are changing my membership to Classic when my Plus runs out next April. Classic only covers for Germany.
Been with them for 10 years but looks like I will be going elsewhere for cover.

Just received my renewal - price has gone down so I assume that is because of the change in cover - I guess I just won't renew. Now need cover for a 9m motorhome after my Iveco Assist runs out but that is 18 months or so away.

Just received my renewal too, already written them a letter to go with the renewal notice telling what they can do with it. I'm guessing that if this applies to all non German residents, ADAC membership numbers will be reducing somewhat, assumably that is their aim, been with them for 8 years, never made a claim, will now be using RAC European for cover, though my MB sprinter based Hymer is also covered under MB warranty.

They chased me! I didn’t realise I had to send 3 months notice in writing, and just let it lapse. They sent letters threatening action for sometime afterwards, even though I explained that I hadn’t understood, which was ironically why I was cancelling - couldn’t understand the terms & conditions etc. They got quite insistent, but I just kept telling them I wasn’t paying, & luckily my credit card expired. I know it was my fault that I didn’t give them notice, but they were not very understanding!

I think the situation is different now. They are ending the contract not you and they give you 3 months notice. Well they did me, 3 months before the renewal date I got the letter.

Was just thinking the same. Not offering the same service so cannot enforce the renewal.
