€22 !! Think my next might just have to be Portugal
I thought portugal was more expensive to eat out last year ...certainly on the south and west coast's. But I found it much cheaper on the east side this year as little as €4.50 for a 3 course meal plus coffee and wine etc.
No idea how they make a living from that

Wasn't coriander on our meal looks just like it but it's not, very mild flavour by comparison, only seem to get it in Portugal. Girl tried to explain about it to us.

Probably was Coriander but as you say the Portuguese variety, Coentros, is a lot milder than the variety we are used to, it is usually in Pork and Clams.

The other stuff that looks similar is Salsa, Parsley, sometimes the only way I can be sure when buying on the market is by rubbing a leaf and having a sniff:)

I think that it was the Portuguese that introduced Coriander and Chilli's to the Indian sub continent, I love both...........and am quite fond of olives buttons

Even at €11 that meal was awesome, couldn't eat it all far too much, the pork was really tender & they refilled the carafe of wine. Stuffed & pissed for €11 each. Just the wine would have cost more in the UK.

Now on the cliff top at San Pedro De Moel. By the coast it has been misty all day apart from a brief ½ hr around 6:30pm.

Now at Foz do Arelho, Mr Wallet not happy having to pay €4 a night, Phil PhilandMena will be giving me grief - hang on a minute he recommended it & he calls himself a FLT. :D

Could have had loads of space but the boss wanted a sea view.

Great Location. I sneaked in, so my FLT reputation intact. Unlike yours.

The French are unbelievably thick when it comes to card entry Aires. Coming back from the croissant run a French van trying to get in, didn't have a clue, had a Camping Carpark card in his hand!!!!. Instructions are very clear in French & English, all you do is select how many days and put your credit card in.
BUT - Have you ever tried to use any card at Gastes lakes?

Lenny puts up with lot if the price is right, that’s how he has managed 3 new vans with minimum of depreciation. I’ve purchased 2 vans there and they do eventuality sort things out at a good price. But if you’re not patient or do not have a sense of humour buy elsewhere.

Anyone been to Trombone the jazz bar in the village, have they got a dance floor?

Wandered up there yesterday they don't open until 9 pm will try tonight.

Can't help with the jazz bar question Lenny but the other day I did bump into a rubber trumpet.
