Since 2008 & many years tugging
When this is a trip that nearly didn't happen, as peterc10 would elegantly put it, 2 weeks ago I was peeing red wine. Turned out to be an infection that antibiotics sorted it.

Did our usual last ones to check in and one of the first off the ferry.

No 5pm ferry until May this year so we were on the 11:30am which docked at Dieppe at 4:30pm so we didn't get out of the port until 4:50, did fancy Dieppe or Rouen rush hour so into Lidl then on to our favourite stop near Dieppe.

What's your favourite Dieppe stop chuck?

Not the best start to a trip in panic just before leaving couldn't find my V5, searched house & van, then had a eureka moment and remembered where I'd hidden it in the van.

Left home them remembered I'd forgotten my favourite jacket, oh well excuse to buy a new one.
Then we got stuck in a traffic jam at Newhaven.

It gets worse, I was certain I had my wallet in my pocket when we left home, when we get to Lidl at Dieppe me no can find wallet which had my driving licence, GHIC card and CC cards.

Search the van, phoned daughter to get her to check at our house that I hadn't left it at home but she was out for the day. Very quick shop in Lidl then another search of the van. I was certain I had it when we left home.

So flat out back to the port as ferry leaves at 6pm. Went into reception gave them my sob story. Helpful guy radios the boat, told then where I was sitting and a few minutes later they radio back, they have found it. Had to wait for them to finish loading and he went and collected it. He was most chuffed when I gave him 5 Euro for his trouble.
What a relief, things are looking up.

Oi! I'll have you know that there's a time to be tight and a time to be generous ... in Lennys case I'm surprised he had the strength left after his major fright to prise open his wallet at all as I'm sure the moths would've been trying their damnedest to keep it shut. 😆

Forgot to mention don't know where we are going yet, and before some Yorkshire geezer shouts, it won't be Germany.
Come on down to Sully ... it's been scorching here, even Mr Lizard came out to sunbathe! 😄

On a better note I designed and printed some wedges in TPU (a soft flexable plastic) a few days ago. Not done them before as TPU is pig to print but now much better with the latest beta firmware upgrade for my printer specificly for TPU.

Used them on the shower screen and the hab door fly screen.
We have now gone from the most ratterly van we have ever had to the quietest, no rattles at all.

No need for printed stuff, just 'obtain' a cracked windscreen then you'll drive more slowly and miraculously the rattles all disappear! 😄
