Be warned, we ordered an awning from them, got it out of the bag, tried to put it up, poles don't fit (we didn't try to attach to van), folded back up, put back in bag, did not remove tags, put it back in the box it came in. Emailed them on 27th May to request return and refund. They do not answer phone, and do not reply to emails. After trying 10's of time i finally got to speak to someone this morning. They said as we have used it they cannot refund. Apparently getting it out of the bag and trying to put it up constitues using it. Not sure how this is any different the buying a dress and trying it on then returning it but somehow it is. I quoted trading standards etc re unfit for use, they tried to fob me off with manufacturers problem. So I have spoken to Trading Standards and am waiting to hear back from Leisure outlet. I am totally within my right to request a refund ..... lets see how this plays out .... next step is requesting refund from credit card company... wish me luck

Credit card (y) Just get them involved now, they will soon sort it.
Had a few issues resolved and all in my favour...

You won’t need luck, seller clearly at fault.

Bank should cover it especially if paid by credit card.

On a side note I had a damaged item delivered by them a few years ago, they sent/collected 3 before I got one undamaged and part refunded the cost for the inconvenience.

Definitely report it to your credit card company, they have the know how and resources to deal with this.

Be aware, the Credit Card Company will tell you that you must give the seller 30 days to provide a refund before they will act. However, after that period the process is quite straightforward.

Good luck.

That's surprising - we had a faulty cover a few years ago which they replaced swiftly so have always bought from them with confidence previously.

I've had three different orders with them in the past year, one of which I returned as unsuitable (nothing wrong with it but I changed my mind).
The returning process was easy and the refund quick.

Your right but they will act quicker if the company is refusing to refund.
