I have just bought a new Swift motorhome. Does anyone know if they come with a leisure battery or do I need to switch the leisure battery from my old MH.

If it is a brand new vehicle then I would expect the dealer to include at least one leisure battery.

Without a leisure battery the dealer would be unable to do a proper full handover as none of the 12v systems would operate.

Thanks. I thought that was the case as the Motorhome I have obviously has a manufacturer battery as they sent me a letter saying I needed to do something with it. But just thought I would ask as this is my first new Motorhome.

You could not have had a very good handover then is all I can say. Dealer should have explained fully how everything worked before you took the van away
