I know what your thinking,not another battery thread!
I was watching the Caravan Channel last night (in my sad period at the moment). There was a good video article about types of batteries, well worth a look on their web site. I would do a link but have no idea how to:thumb:.:Smile:

I used to be of the opinion that these fancy gel and maintenance free batteries were the best but since making friends with a battery repairer and carrying out various tests on different batteries am now of the opinion that wet cell leisure's that can be topped up are not only the cheapest but also the best.
If Sterling Power recomend them,they are good enough for me.
Just shows you are never to old to learn.:winky:

Over the years that advice has saved me plenty. I only use cheap (ish) bog standard wet cells and don't worry too much about them. They just seem to go on and on. Maybe because we have always used the motorhome year round. It seems batteries, even or especially the dear ones, hate inactivity.
