Fit the biggest ah battery you can in the space available. You don't need to match exactly what was there before. AGM get bad press as leisure battery so skip them and stay wet acid or gel.hi my leisure battery has died its a varta lfa 95 which now appears to be obsolete i dont know if its agm or whatever ..i am thinking of fitting 2 lfd 90 vartas is this a good idea ?
thanks lenny i know the setting is on my electroblock 119 but i dont know which one it is edit just looked at the manual and seen it i am guessing it should be on lead/gel?Fairly certain your battery was an AGM, the Varta LFD's are very good. Don't forget to change your charger setting to lead acid.
Yes the lead gel setting is for Gels but it will be OK with the LFD they are fairly tolerant.thanks lenny i know the setting is on my electroblock 119 but i dont know which one it is edit just looked at the manual and seen it i am guessing it should be on lead/gel?

The voltage is too high on the AMG setting, the Gel setting the voltage is OK but absorbtion phase is 16 hours not ideal.
When I collected my van I got rid of the AGM and fitted 3 x Gels they are still performing like new 5 years on.
