Need to upgrade the batteries (2) supplied with the MH. I've only 330mm x 175mm for each battery. Plenty of high. Size to Amps the Trojan Deep Cycle looks good. Anyone any experience of these?

Yes thats the one I've been looking at but Tayna say venting is a problem and don't recommend using inside? Instead they pointed me at Exide EP900 Dual AGM Battery! I wonder why? Apart from being sealed is the AGM better, discharge slower? Don't mind paying for the right bit of kit.

Depends where your batteries are. If they are inside the van then any hydrogen produced will enter the van unless vented outside with a risk of explosion..... if the batteries are in an externally vented locker with no electricity then that's fine.
AGM sealed batteries don't have this problem.

Just fitted two Victron130 amp AGM deep cycle batteries. Time will tell.

Alphaline seem decent batteries and a sensible price. they do a selection of amp hour , dimensions; and deep cycle
