This may have been covered before. I am trying to work out the consumption of the led lights in our autocruise accent as part of working out what size solar panel and leisure batteries I will need. The fittings in the tech handbook are:
Locker spotlights, LED FEM0854 complete lamp 12v LED
China locker light 500mm cold cathode 4.5W light 12v 4.5W CCFL
B-pillar map reading lamps Complete lamp on ‘swan neck’flexible arm 12v LED
Awning lamp, LED FEM 0945 LED complete unit 12v LED
Ceiling light, round, recessed FEM0857 LED complete lamp 12V LED
Over locker lights & pelmet lights FEM1214 flexible LED light strip (cut to length) 12V LED
Illuminated panel back lighting FEM1214 flexible LED light strip (cut to length) 12V LED
Walkway single LED lights, black surround
FEM0993 LED complete unit 12v LED
Downlighter, ceiling panel, black surround FEM0993 LED complete unit 12v LED
Downlighter chrome FEM1189 LED complete unit 12V LED
Bathroom downlighter, large, chrome Halogen capsule bulb GU4 12v 5W

Has anybody got an idea of the approximate power consumption of each light?

As a first guess, I'd go for 1 to 2 watts each for the LEDs. You can get GU4 LED bulbs to replace the halogen one. Go for a 'warm white' one about 1 watt. it will be brighter than the 5 watt halogen.

I replaced our GU4 with LED, just as good if not better light and less than half the wattage with much longer lifespan..win win.

Our 2007 Autocruise Stardream shows how many amps you are using on the control panel, do the Accents not have that any more? Battery wise it came with 2x90Ah and 100Watt Solar panel. Does what we need but would look at bigger Ah batteries when these eventually die.

Is there no ammeter? If yes, turn all the lights on and see what it says. Multiply that by the current voltage and you're set.

Thanks for all your help as usual. I am going with the BM1 bluetooth battery monitor and will have real time power consumption data.
