- started when I was 11 with my parents-forgot to stop!been real one since 1980!
I had to replace the tail light cluster on my Hymer Exsis,the replacement unit came complete with bulbs.
While playing around with the old unit I soon found out why, to replace the bulbs I had to dismantle the complete rig taking out the holder for ALL the bulbs,imaging having to do that on the roadside after the law have stopped you,especially the Gendarmes! If the design is so difficult,why don't Hymer or Hella fit LEDs? I assume LEDS have a longer life than filament bulbs. The bulbs are single filament separate for stop,tail and fog with a similar size but amber glass for the indicators,the reversing light is a smaller 'bullet' type bulb.
Any recommendations for a supplier of replacement LEDs,especially the amber coloured for the indicators.
