You'll have to cut 25mm off the red pipe and refit it if you can. Dip it in hot water to soften it if it's tight.

Try wrapping some PTFE tape around the spigot before sliding the red pipe on then tighten, it may be a small scratch or groove that the tape will seal.??

Just bind it up with consolidating/self amalgamating tape. Great stuff, I never go out without it.

Thanks that's exactly what I did but again to no avail
Suggests to me the leak is in the tail connection so its tap off and replace the tail. I wouldn't bodge it with tape/sealant as if it starts to leak and you don't spot it you could end up with a bigger problem.

Thanks I was thinking that myself, can I buy the tail separate or do I have to buy the tap as well. It definitely isn't leaking from higher up.

Usually you can buy the tails separately but I think there are different threads so will need to make sure you get the same mine screwed onto a fitting on the end of the plastic pipe like these https://www.screwfix.com/p/flexible...VxLTtCh0Z7QKPEAQYASABEgIDJvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds

The cold pipe in the background looks to have a different attachment to the hot maybe it has been "modified" in the past!

the piece youve pushed in to the red hose looks like its a pushfit spigot rather than a barbed connector i going by the look of the cold one below ,As the one below is holding id slide the red hose back to a similar position

Looking at the picture and the position of the clip on the cold feed. Is the clip on the red pipe to close to the end of the pipe and trying to clamp over the ridge where the fitting narrows (as can be seen on the cold feed.

I would say it’s the probably the black pipe that’s leaking. The tail coming out of the crimped end maybe loose.
Get a pipe to pipe connector and cut back both pipes.. dip the ends in hot water before fixing.
Don’t over tighten the jubilee clips.

Since 1996, had Elddis/Swift/Rapido/Rimor/Chausson MHs. Autocruise/Globecar PVCs/Compactline i-138
Had similar in a previous camper, the jubilee clip wasn't holding the pipe totally tight up and letting a little bit of water through, I fitted a second clip lower down and together they did the job.

Update temp fix sorted
Used the self amalgamating tape which has worked well up to now but also nipped Into a plumb centre who knocked up a stop end if needed.
Pic 1 the leak area
Pic 2 reserve temp fix
Thanks again for suggestions
