leaking shower in Hobby

i did look through a few old posts but I’ll pop on here anyway…



I’ve got a Hobby 750 Toskana. Using the shower for the 1st time due to covid + closed shower blocks etc.

first shower, I saw leaking onto the bathroom floor, and outside the bathroom itself – wet carpet. I think that's because the shower door doesn’t fit properly – it doesn’t make a seal against the shower tray. So we pointed the shower head away from the door and that seemed to work

but there is still leaking, even after 3rd attempt. When I empty the cassette there is water inside that compartment. As it only happens when I shower I’m guessing its only grey water!

I guess its going to be…the plug isn’t fitted properly / or a leaking pipe underneath / or a failed seal on the shower wall? I don’t see what else it can be really?

In which case I need to find a ‘mobile caravan service’ to have a look, because I’m not going to attempt it myself.

Any advice?

try pouring water down the plughole but without wetting any walls or seals, that way you can rule the drainage out if all stays dry

Once had a leak from the shower tray in our Hobby 650.
The water was leaking from the edge of the bi-fold door where it affixes to the wall into the bathroom.

I recall removing the door and finding that there was an absence of 'gunk' immediately under the bottom
of the door in the corner.

I applied some 'Stuff' into the corner, smoothing it away from the outside and into the shower tray.
Job done.
