Hello All,
We have a 2008 Swift Bolero that has water leaking in between the 2 layers of plastic in the PolyPlastic overcab non-opening skylight, and pooling inside at the bottom. So far it has not leaked inside the van. There is no obvious break in the sealant round the skylight or crack in the outer plastic.
I am reluctant to try digging out the sealant and trying to reseal it myself as there will be more sealant where I don't want it than were I do. Have phoned a couple of independent service technicians who reckon it is bonded to the body and a waste of time trying to reseal it. It would need replacing at at a cost of £1200 to £1500 in the unlikely event that they could even find a new one!
Any helpful thoughts please?
