took a few hours out today to clear the leaves and get rid of the winter debris in the garden now we have our new dog
petrol blower to move every thing onto the lawn then great idea rotary mower out as leaf collector( ride on no good as chute will block to quick with wet leaves , then found ride on has a puncture , another job to do ) , honda rotary mower so starts 2nd pull , 8 years old and never missed a beat or had a problem , 89 grass bags full later lawn is looking not so bad , cannot belive i cleared this november and now so bad, gate into woods behind us swelled and requires planing , honda genny out , fill with fuel as empty from disney new year and electric plane , would not run off choke and very erratic , got gate done and genny back to workshop lots of fuel spilling from carb overflow, stop think , kippor floats stick , kippor copied from honda several posts on mhf about kippor glips and remedies , 2 taps on floor , all sorted ( see honda same problem must be because i parked by a kippor new year )
anyway 4 hours later 70% garden clear just patios to do, gate now working so can use woods again ( avoiding our garden leaf mountain ) honda running fine
terry pitty you are so far away would have traded you for a free overnight on front drive with hook up and bbq for a trade on clearing lawn as this is your specialist subject , maybe sort this out in summer ( without the trade labour ) :thumb:
see at least honda owners can admit to having a problem , is this the only post where a honda has played up ????????????????
