LeVoyageur is the top (luxury) end of the French Pilot company.

Unusually Built of Polyester and Fibre Glass on an aluminium (not wood) frame, it is extremely strong and coloured right through so small knocks and scratches do not show.

We live in the South of France which is where the vehicle is now. It is on a French plate but I understand it is very easy to register it in the UK if that is what you need. It has been up-plated to 4 tonne for the UK but would need DREAL approval to apply in France if you have the appropriate licence.

Drool, drool. We have a 12/1999 ?LVX 645 which we would have to sell first and then hope that Ernie is kind.

BTW I guess that your payload is somewhat limited - seems to be a bit of an issue with this marque but you can't have everything, can you ?

Yes as with most French Vans, they have never bothered about weight. So I had it upgraded in the UK by SVTech to 4000kg for my own peace of mind. Just never bothered to Jump through the hoops of the French system. Basically every camper you will come across here is overweight. Nobody bothers about it. But if I got picked up in the UK I could at least point to the SVTech plate and say, "no I'm not". Hope Earnie comes up for you. because it an amazing MoHo. I get sad whenever I think about selling it. But life has to move on.

We've (I've) found our next motorhome if and when we ever change ours, a Carthago C-line 4.9. Won't be for a long while yet though.......

Have now reduced the price to €35,000. It really is a very nice MoHo.
You can spend the winter in Spain after buying it without the long drive from the UK. We are only an hour from Spain.
