We are looking at buying a le voyageur on the Mercedes 416cdi (after we sell our pvc)
We need LEFT HAND DRIVE, a fixed double at the rear (not singles or pull down bed) if anyone can tell us the model number of such a van it would be greatly appreciated 👍😁
NOT SPRINTSHIFT but true automatic ok!

I am sure DuxDeluxe will be along shortly to help, as a long time owner of such a van.

Yes, I already answered this a couple of days ago on a different thread. The used ones are very good indeed But as rare as Hens teeth.

Hayes Leisure have one in that price range. Very well worth a good look. They are a good dealer as well. Their other one is an older, more lightly specced version of mine (first owner simply ticked almost everything on the options list plus a shedload of dealer fit items)

It’s the model number I’m after so I can search on tinternet in europe!
ps I was advised by a member to not put such a cryptic heading therefor the second post!

If you double the 36K you are likely to get something like the other one Hayes has which is exactly what you are looking for. You won’t get a proper auto Le Voyageur for that money unfortunately. LVX855 is the model……

No, the Hayes 519cdi is an auto box - a close look at the gear knob confirms this; it is very similar to my own van. That is a very good buy for someone; the older Le Voyageurs are rare vans and very well built up to a standard rather than down to a weight

That is the RH drive one on the 416 chassis with the drop down bed..... none of which the OP wanted. I referred to the other one that exactly meets the spec, being no bed, full auto and LH drive

Hi guys, firstly thanks to Eurajohn, the 416cdi on there is exactly what I’m looking for👍😁
Prefer an automatic (NO SPRINTSHIFT) but will take a manual😁

Found a 2004 le voyageur in Germany but can’t find out what duty rate I have to pay! 😐

Ok so the hmrc didn’t answer my question but they have replied with a link to their website 😐
However as far as I can make out it’s NO DUTY just 20% vat, roughly the price you see in Europe is the price in pounds by the time you get it back to the UK👍😁
