Called at the town center aire today to find it empty with the entrance barred by concrete blocks.
No information posted as to reason or if and when it will be reopened.

What a shame as it was an ideal place to stop.

I was looking at stopping here in August and had planned my route around it.
I've therefore emailed Le Mans Tourism and asked how long it will be closed and they've replied earlier today with:

Hello,

We cannot give you the date oh the reopenning of the area for motorhome.
We can only advise you ta park your motorhome on the parking which is Quai Louis Blanc along the roman wall.

Called in there last week after going to Le Mans museum to take wife shopping to find closed, drove out without stopping traffic was crazy.
It wouldn't be so bad if there seemed to be a reason for closing it but it is France.
