Its a shame we never knew beforehand Micky we could have had a mini meet.
We had one night at City of Europe met Alan DMS there, and last night at Canterbury park and ride, had a night with Graham and Jill ( GJH ), woke this morning they had gone.
We are all heading for the Kent show, weather not looking great at the moment, but should have a better feel to it after a few beers over the weekend. Bob and Jane.
Hi again, at La Rochelle there is an Aries at the top of the town as you come in but it was full last Aug prob ok in June. But we went on to a park and ride Aries just south of the town with service point, cost 10euro but included shuttle bus into heart of La Rochelle town.
Over to Il de Re bridge toll was 16euro, and there are plenty of choices where to stay. but it was very busy when we went over so by chance i followed a mh that turned off main road at Les Prices and found a great little site called Les Prices great cycle route along the grape fields /Vine yards to lots of nice villages and 5 mins from great beach, site was full in Aug but guy let us stay cheaper in field next door which was great
We went along north coast then cut across Brittany to Audierne which is nice and made our way down west coast then up the centre back, if you want list of Aries and more info let me know and others on here that are more seasoned pros can help as they did me when I did most of my planning using fun and all the Aries book combined it was a doddle.:thumb:
At cite Europe now until the morning ferry
Weather has been poor until now and it is typically cracking the flags oh:
Drip goes south
