Whilst touring Brittany in 2013 we spent a few days at La Baule-Escoublac, which has arguably one of the finest beaches in France. Not far from here is the coastal village of Le Croisic which is worth a visit if you are in the region. It must be famous for it's shell fish as at low tide it looks like most of the towns people are in the estuary collecting them. We saw signs which i think imposed a limit of 6 Kilo's per person per day?
The vullage itself is absolutly charming with small restaurants and cafes along the quay side and it seems to be very popular with visitors. We certainly enjoyed a couple of days there and would recommend to one and all, especially if you like fresh sea food.
