If there is anyone around the Paris area during this period then the "Salon VDL" (Vehicles of Leisure) is on. According to the blurb I have received, if you go to salonvdl.com you can print off a reduced price ticket (imprimer votre billet à tarif réduit) so avoiding the waiting queues. For the first time the ticket also gives access free admission to the Air Museum which is adjacent to the exhibition halls. So, reduced price of admission is 5€.

Apparently, there will be some 800 examples of camping cars on display, plus caravans and mobile homes

If you arrive after 16.00 you can have free parking as long as you leave before 09:00 two days later, else 5€. According to my Aires book the GPS co-ords are 48 deg 56min 13 sec N and
2 deg 25 mins 43 secs E.

Been before. Very very good. You don't even have to go into the exhibition halls of you don't want to....you can just drive into and use the massive motorhome parking area at le bourget airport for a few nights at just 5 euros per night and bus or scooter into central Paris. We spent 4 nights in the parking zone but only did 2 days at the actual show. If anyone is thinking of going in to the actual show, buy a copy of camping car magazine from a french newsagents beforehand....it usually has a two-for-one voucher inside which you can use at the admission point at the show.
