Hi
We are passing through Spain in particular Leon and wondering where it is possible to do laundry . In France we saw laundry machines at supermarkets . Is there something similar here

Thanks 🙏

Yes their about, garage forecourts and supermarkets for example.

Just couldn't fail to open this thread....
There are loads of coin operated self service launderettes in Spain...they are clean, cheap and well used....we often use them whilst on holiday in the summer...and even when home we pop down to our nearest to pop the sleeping bags or duvets ....home one is not adequate....as for drying...just hang out for an hour...,,,,,,👍🇪🇦😃

Park4Night often has them displayed (showing 3 in the city of Leon) though it’s only a limited number. We’ve found google to be very useful

I used one of these:

and one of these:

We’ve found the Spanish and Portuguese self service are less used than the French ones. The last two washes we’ve done back in France the machines did the job but looked pretty ropey and good job I had walking boots on as the floor was wet and filth, definitely not been cleaned for some time. French more expensive as well.

You can search which Repsol garages have washing machines on their website.

I just open the garage and get the washing machine out don't have to waste time finding laundrettes.

I have one of those but swmbo not keen on using it. When we have used it we've used it in the shower, fill from the shower hose and empty down the shower drain.

We tried a machine for a while and thought it was to much faffing around. You don’t have to go to far to find machines these days, normally within an hour we can have the washing done dried and away all for under €10 (that includes the cakes) whilst we sit a scoff cakes from whatever bakers is near by.
We hate washing days so want to get it sorted and forget about it.

Prefer to do our own I can sit in the sun with a beer or G&T, I'd look like a drunk doing that in the laundrette, do use them if it's raining. They are a bit risky used one in Portugal that automatic put soap and fabric softener in no options not to have. I Iike to use no bio powder/liquid and hate fabric softener, the van stunk for a year every time you opened a locker with clithes in.

Looks like Wash ME/Revolution are expanding across Europe. They have 600 in UK. Doing a few random searches in Germany, France, Spain etc seems to throw up quite a few. Lots are located at petrol stations or supermarkets so no problems parking.

When traveling, I have a medium sized square plastic container with a watertight lid that I use for the dirty washing.
When half full, 3/4 fill it with water and detergent and secure in shower room, when I get to destination, it is washed and just needs rinsing & drying .
Keeps the arm exercised for the big steins of Germany 😄

Little and often is the name of the game. 🙂

Revolution are our first choice too. Open 24/7. Super efficient new machines. Big capacity. Used one a couple of days ago in Germany at a truck stop filling station. Washed and dried two weeks worth of washing, towels and duvet covers within the hour. Filled up with Autogas, diesel and AdBlu, and did a quick shop in the Lidl next door whilst waiting. They are all really conveniently located at supermarkets and filling stations.

Looks like they've expanded into Spain too.
