There's a lot on there that I like, but that roof would end up frying me !

Surely it will start at more than that, that's cheaper than a standard vw California.

That was Columbus ( unless you go with the Irish monk theory) , what a daft roof for a camper , unless they have got it triple glazed

Really? That's a lot less than I thought it would be tbh.

Surely it will start at more than that, that's cheaper than a standard vw California.

Apologies, although I did a quick search on the XXL, the price that came up looks as if it refers to a basic California..... From £40445 !

If I'd known how much VW Californias retail at, I might have picked up on that price being too cheap, but I didn't

Yes, totally agree. There is a suggestion on another website that the impractical glass roof may not make it through to the production version. I do hope not:

I cannot beleve it is only 0.75m shorter than our Arto and you still do not get a fixed bed, nor a garage.

If you park near to two or more floored buildings you would have to be pulling yhe overhead blinds for a lot of activities:D

The full name appears to be the Volkswagen California XXL Concept. I'm not sure I'd want to buy a production model with retractable hobs and that many touchscreens....it's just asking for trouble.

With the new RHD Mercedes Marco Polo pop-up costing £53K+, I don't want to think how much this would cost if it ever did go into production.

I think the rear bed is fixed and 2 more in over cab bed presumably to fry the kids.
I don't like the exterior lines at all.

I like it apart from too much glass in the roof, if it was a proper solid insulated roof it would be ideal, one piece I presume so no leaking just like the similar James Cook model.

Don't like the roof too much wasted space for solar, roof bars for surfboards etc. And don't like the rear body overhang, should have squared it off giving more space below and making it look nicer. Just my opinion. I won't be getting one.
