Hi all :)
On doing our research, we can't seem to see a motor home that has a large front to back sleeping bed? Is there such one?
Thank you for your help

It might also help to define "large". How long does the bed need to be. Are you giraffes? :)

Our 2010 Burstner Solano T725 has an island bed that we both like. I am 6'4" and have no problem. It 'folds' back by about a foot when not in use.
One for sale on Ebay at the moment...

We have an Autosleeper with a U shaped rear lounge that makes up into a massive double bed (or two good single beds) which can be used lengthways or widthways. We prefer to sleep lengthways and we don't disturb each other if one of us has to get up in the night.

Our IH630 RL has a rear u lounge and when the seat back cushions are stored in the cab area it has two very good singles or one large double but easier to get out of bed without disturbing the other if 2 singles.
Bed length and width our main priority in selecting this MH.

A 'front to back' bed is called a 'north-south' and an across the van bed is an 'east-west'.

I think that’s what the Americans and Aussies call them because they can’t spell longitudinal and transverse ;)

Our side to side island bed is 5ft x 6ft 6”. :)

Management says it’s big enough and the bed is great too.

Twin singles are the most practical arrangement for getting in and out without disturbing the other (unless so forgetful that you don't remember which side was yours).
Many can have a filler to join the beds together and make a vast bed but not so practical for discreet visits to the loo.

That's one of the reasons we're changing our camper from a transverse double to 2 x singles, I find trying to hurl myself up and then having to do a somersault over hubby to get in the far side a bit awkward now ... especially since he put on weight ... it's like trying to jump over a small mountain!

Transverse means that one of you will be pinned against a wall and need to seek permission to get out.
