Laptop wont do a search

For a while now my laptop wont perform a search when askedoh:

Any ideas on a cure?

Cant find a computer corner

Hi,
I am no expert but have you looked at your virus/spyware/firewall setup's as it just may be one of them that is stopping the search facility, you could perhaps try downloading Google or Yahoo toolbars and trying the seach facilty that comes with them

Is that a search of the hard disks ( from, for example My Computer ), or a search from the address bar of your web browser?

Have you recently installed Windows Desktop Search from m/soft?
