Just don’t buy an HP my friend has had nothing but trouble with his he asked for his money back but was refused. To much detail to explain why just that the pad is over sensitive and can’t be changed it has been back to HP 3 times. Stick with Dell if you insist on not have a Apple I got mine on line for £300 fantastic.

Wow, that's one hell of a spec for surfing the internet and a bit of Word!

Been looking myself recently - just looking, mind, unless Santa is feeling generous - and noticed nearly everything now has SSD storage drives.

Agree, that looks well spec’d; going to cost a few bob.

Any idea how much?

It's not for surfing the internet, it's for my lad he needs it for his university course which entails CAD2020 and his current laptop is not up to the job, I wouldn't spend that much to surf the net ?

newbie learning fast and sometimes the hard way
If you want MS office for your new laptop I always use Amazon single licence one download - Have used it on my home PC and all the kids laptops with no problems at all for a fraction of the price elsewhere.

CAD will eat memory on a standard laptop AutoCAD 2018 minimum spec AutoCAD 2018 in link but would recommend a minimum of 16gb of memory otherwise you will wait all day for drawings to load

That is why we have gone for the higher spec, we also have 14 days to try it and if it's not right they will change it for what ever we need but this should be fine
