Does anyone know how to move the taskbar form bottom of screen to right side were it was till the update decided to move it to the bottom.

Click and drag? Try clicking on an unused part of the task bar and while holding down the mouse key drag it to the side.

If it doesn't work have a look in Settings.

Everyone is presuming it is windows 10/11?

Are we sure it is not an earlier version of windows, a MAC, a Chromebook or Linux?

Also, when you right-click on the empty space on the taskbar make sure 'Lock All Taskbars' is not selected which would prevent you from moving it.

Thanks but I do not seem to get these similar worded instructions in my settings. I am a dynasaur as regards tech. In fact to my wifes annoyance I always comment in a rude way so i abreviate now so not to upset her. ie TIS, stands for Technology Is S***! Of course I am happy bunny when it works but it will always let you down eventually and usually on the day you need it most! End of Rant.

Just checked on my Microsoft Surface Pro computer running Windows 11. You can no longer move the Taskbar. No problem for me because I always liked it on the bottom. But seems a retrograde step.

Edit. Just checked Windows update and I see I can now download Windows 11 version 22H2. Will look into that.
