Two years ago we were stopped from doing this trip due to ill health and, of course, now Covid. So I've just indulged my travel bug by working out a route using

Amazing how easy it would be just to get on the road and go!
We usually plan doing these long trips to go via places we want to see along the way but this would make a very easy direct route if we wanted to get there quicker.
Now - where shall I go next? Maybe Morocco which is still on our bucket list.

Its nice to sit and plan, I enjoy it but we aways change ours, I guess thats the beauty of having a van

We don't plan musch ahead apart from knowing where wer'e ultinmately headed so we can go tointeresting places we didn't already know about along the way.

we are so bad at planning we wait till we get out of the eurotunnel and turn left or right
