Looking at moving to Garda from Maggiore and found a number of sites. Has anyone stayed at any of the below?

Camping San Nicola
Camping Continental
Camping Serenella
Camping Europa

Any feedback would be appreciated, thanks.

We have just had a lovely family week at camping butterfly in pescheria del garda. Nice little family site, ten minutes stroll into pretty, buzzy pescheria...not one of the mega sites but no pitches with a lake view.

We liked La Rocca, right by the lake, handy to Garda and Bardilino. Nice vibe, pitches a bit on the tight side - we were in a 6m PVC lots of bigger vans managed to squeeze in.

Is the big hairy bloke in a fairy outfit still doing the entertainment?

Sorry no info on the above mentioned camping, but if I could recommend Camping San Fransesco( south Garda ). Try to get near to lakeside is best.
Easy bus access, outside the camp gates, to Sermione an enchanting walled town, which can be seen from across the lake.
The sunset from lakeside San Fransesco here is amazing.

I didn’t see a big hairy bloke in a fairy outfit, but we were there in October - I think the Italians found a big hairy Irish bloke in swimming trunks in the lake quite entertaining as they huddled in their winter coats.

Pricey but very very nice is Camping Fornella: little train stops outside and takes you into Portese(Ferry stop) and Salo, one of the best and most beautiful towns on the lake.

Can't help with the aforementioned sites as we usually just long weekend on the lake.

Our go to site is in Lazise, Camping Comunale, not seafront but next to the promenade and 2 mins from the centre of Lazise, most size vans will fit and the facilities are above the Italian norm.

Thanks all for the suggestions, all will be kept for future reference. After much deliberation and thought (not really:giggle:) we've landed at Camping Cappuccino. It was the first we came upon and it's a very short walk away from town centre.

Please elaborate ! 🤪
He would call the children with a loud hailer while walking round the camp, a large gentleman with a black beard dressed in a tutu and tiara. The kids loved it, here he would have been arrested.
