Has anyone been to Lake Bled or know of any campsites in the area?

Went last year. Lovely spot, extremely hot last August but a dip in the lake every now and then was nice. Good walks around the lake and some nice restaurants, too.

We stayed at a camp site right next to the lake, but were lucky to get in at late notice. Luckily we had friends who were already on site and they nabbed a spot for us.

Can't remember the name, but Addie's the one wot knows all about it (Europe by Camper).

We went in October, much quieter and wetter then but a lovely place, Steve's quite right. The campsite was just across the road from the lake and is pretty extensive, but large areas had been closed off when we were there.
The lake itself is excellent for cycling or walking .... Or Olympic class rowing if I remember correctly. You can also take a rowing boat to the island in the middle of the lake, where you can get married if there's nothing better to do.
