@Briarose so sorry to hear of the loss of your husband.
How did your trip to Norfolk go?
I did the same as you and changed to a smaller van when I recently found myself on my own so know how hard it is to put yourself out there when you have been part of a couple.
I really hope that you can make the meet as I know that the ladies will be very supportive and we aim to have a great time

Hi Thankyou....the trip went well. I was so pleased to drive the motorhome and it has given me something to focus on. I have been sat in it most of the afternoon today with a Friend on my drive...she says she can now see the appeal of a motorhome. Yes it is frightening the whole being alone....and I wish with all my heart that life was normal again...but I know it won't be so need to make a new normal and rather than bereavement classes etc for me the motorhome seemed to be the answer. I know it won't be the same being alone....but I am looking forward to meeting up with other funsters now x

Of course you will miss your husband but every day you will grow stronger and learn to live with the loss whilst living a new chapter in your life. Thankyou.....something just told me to do this. I am scouring the other rallies at the moment. Rallies weren't something we did as a couple so this will definitely be a whole new chapter for me x
