Since july 2009 And Still Going Strong
Morning all.

Originally we were not coming under the water till Christmas Day but change of plans and we came over Tuesday morning. Now deciding where to spend Christmas Day. We stayed a few times before at La Suze but when it was the car park next to the river, not stayed in the old camping site.
Can only find a couple of mentions in search.
Anyone been there, is there hard standing and is the water likely to be on at the moment?

Thanks for reading, Shawn.

Have you seen this…😎

Like you we always parked by the river. Did try the Municipal site now the new mh parking but it was wet and only grass. We parked on the roads as did others on the site. Wouldn't go back there again. Shame.

My memory is patchy but when I stayed there last May there was a large hard standing to the right as we went through the barrier that was full of large Motorhomes.

We have stayed on the old municipal site many times. There’s plenty of hard standing as they’ve widened one of the access roads and it never seems to be very busy.

The water inside is usually on

but if not there is a service point outside (although an extra cost).

We were last there at the end of November and it was €6 incl elec and the water was on.

Yes we was there in April it had unmetered electric hard standing pitch . Over the bridge 1st right was the old aire I think it’s the next right after that. Lovely village

Stayed on municipal site and gave to say it was lovely. However most places are in the sunshine. I did see the street where the site is and I wouldn’t have fit mine in the bays plus think the market is on there / probably not for when you’re visiting though. Have a great time!

The original was great and so many el points however it got closed due to abuse I think as it was supposed to be for 10 M/H but of course the French take no notice. We arrived 10th van on and they still kept coming at least 25 vans on and the riverside by the close of play. Ironically the Municipal was almost MT. That was enroute south enroute back it was Le Mans and the Aires was just on official No,s and Municipal was rammed (mainly Brits for the Le Mans)

I’ve not been there but you could have a look at the www.campingcarpark.com We were happy with the details given for each site and the cost - just a thought.
