I know this is a popular aire just letting people know it’s closed from 15 th sept for 4 nights

Don’t know if it’s similar to a couple of years ago when they were all closed along the Seine for a tall ships event. We had to stay in a farmers field for a few euros to use the vets.

La Mailleraye have several events each year that block access to the aire. We’ve been caught a couple of times.
The private aire a little way upstream

Aire de Camping-Car La Palmeraie​

is very good though. I believe it had new owners a while ago.

There is a municipal camp site, literally next door. About 10 euros including electric. I do not know if that would be open?
