couple of years and loving it
Going to view a 4 year old Kon-Tiki 669 later this week. What is the general view of these quality wise? Is there anything I should check for?
Also at 8.7mtrs long will I have any issues on any sites being accommodated.

Many thanks
Steve

Had a 2010, 679. 3.0l Comfortmatic.

The van itself was very good lots of room and storage, no issues with payload. Honda PCX fits in the garage/bikes

Contrary to popular folk law was leak free no issues with damp. Did fit the stuff (can't remember the name. it's like expanded plastic mesh about 10mm thick) stopped condensation from the walls on the mattress edge and bed sheet.

In the 8 years we had it, replaced the Truma heating elements twice. The fridge 240v & 12v heaters once, Dual mass flywheel & clutch twice. infamous fuel filter once.

Change for 2 reasons, 1) base vehicle reliability, in its last year with us was recovered 4 times. got to the stage where you didn't know if you were going to get there or get back, took the shine off any trip. 2) Found climbing in and out of the over garage bed a bit of nuisance.

Had some really good time in it.
