Koblenz - Motorhome - Mosel (1 Viewer)

Noted a few Funsters planning to tour the Mosel in the next few weeks. We are in Koblenz at the moment having taken three leisurely weeks getting here from Trier. Fantastic . . . what I found today may be of use to anyone following in my footsteps! Sites in Koblenz are around 35€+extras ie shower etc. In Koblenz we found a parking area FREE for motorhomes no facilities, hard gravel area with Aldi just around the corner. Walk through virtually next to car park (follow your nose) to Mosel towpath. Ten minutes maximum cycle or 25 min pleasant walk into the main area of Koblenz and where the Mosel and Rhine converge.
Co-ordinates are as follows: N50*21'56" E7*34'25" or N50.36569 E7.57383. Koblenz 56073, Ravental, Pastor-Klein-Strasse. ENJOY:thumb:

Many thanks. I fell in love with my now wife in Trier while on a dirty weekend going down the Mosel. Must take her back there but will need to brief her beforehand on my declining powers since our first visit 35 years ago!
