Know anyone who cleans Motorhomes in York area? (1 Viewer)

Sorry to hijack this tread, but my question is exactly the same only this time in Suffolk, preferably West Suffolk. I cleaned my MH last Sunday from top to bottom in preparation of setting off on Friday 22nd for a 8 day trek around the WW1 & 2 memorials sites of France and Belgium. Only to be hit by a flu type bug which has knocked me for six, resulting in 5 days in bed and cancelling the trip. I'm convinced it was down to me sweeting my proverbial off cleaning the MH on Sunday that set this bug off. So I for one would be very interested in any MH valeting in my area.

I rang them for a quote and they said that the travelling time (less than an hour) would be an extra £40. I have no doubt that they do an excellent job and are worthy of praise but I'm not shelling out £120 just to have the outside of my van washed.

£120 is dirt cheap to do a proper job of washing, polishing and waxing a motorhome.
