Hi, are we the 3rd to arrive?

We are just purchasing our 1st motorhome which is a Knauss Sun Ti S650.

When we get it we are then off to do a 18 month - 2 year tour of the UK & Europe.

Knaus 708G

Hi am i no 4 I have a Knaus 708G we are very pleased with it, we live in South Wales . We go to Portugal for the winter, manage to get a cbr 600 honda in the garage , hope to meet up with some of you on our travels. :Smile:

Just bought myself a Knaus Sun TI 600LF on Renault Master, 2.5 ltr 120hp, build march 2007, and will fulltime it later this year (2009) :thumb:

And we've got a Knaus too. Best motorhome we've had so far.

There's only one big problem. I've just learned that any owner of a Knaus bought before the end of 2008 has lost their 5 year warranty. So if you're vehicle is between 2004 - 2008 your warranty has gone, disappeared, up in smoke.

Something to do with Knaus having been taken over by some other company and apparently the new company has decided to chop the warranty. Well that's what I've been told directly.

Anyone know if that's the same rule for Knaus motorhome owners in all of Europe or is it just another UK quirk ???

Anyone out there thinking of buying a secondhand Knaus should therefore be careful.

I suppose if Knaus has gone bust before the risk is that the same could happen again. So future buyers of new Knauss should be careful too, the warranty may be on thin ice.

If you got a Knaus you have got a quality van and I wouldn't be over worried about warranties...they are a load of crap anyway, Love our Knaus and now it is our only home,:thumb:

Took delivery of our new Knaus Sky I 700 Plus three weeks ago, first European 'van we've owned. So far we've had a couple of weekends away and are very impressed. The build quality and thoughtful design really stand out, quite a different experience from our last UK make. Anyone else enjoying Bratwurst?
 
Loving our Knaus Sky 700 MX, had it a couple of months and been away twice and llving in it when at work, great build quality.
