Does anyone know of any sites, pub stops or anywhere to park up for a couple of nights, ?

Theres one at the Finhaven hotel in Forfar..8 miles away. Do you want to wild camp?

We have stayed at the pub in Gourdon. Good fish and chip shop next door and decent beer in the pub, job done.

Or St Cyrus nature reserve. Not been there personally but apparently has a water tap and toilets.

Drumshademuir caravan site is 2 miles out of Kirrie on road from Glamis. Open all year , good pub/resturant on site, good heated toilet block and hard standing.
If i remember correctly buses pass the gate hourly from Dundee to Kirrie, once in Kirrie buses go to Forfar where you then head south to Dundee or north to Aberdeen.
You could park 2 mins from Kirrie town centre in the Den car park. believe now has toilets !!

As the car park is in a dip in the road 200 yards from town centre , the locals call it the "Den" simples lol !!
