I was given only one key when I bought the van as the lady who sold it to me could not find the other. I have looked into buying a new key from Fiat but after buying the key and getting my engine immobiliser to recognise it, the bill is going to be upwards of £200. Does anyone know of a cheaper way to get a key blank and getting it recognised by my vans immobiliser?

Unfortunately not, if its the chassis/cab that also needs a RED key go back to your seller as it could cost a grand to rebrain if you have problems.

You can have the immobilisor replaced with a new one, which would recognise a tag on the key ring (same system!) this would make replacing keys cheaper too as there is no chip (In the tag) - most auto electricians charge £80 or thereabouts.
