I bought a wheel bearing online thinking it was made by First Line, which is a brand I've heard of. But I was sent a bearing marketed under the name Key Parts, which is apparently a budget brand sold by First Line. The warranty is 12 months or 12,000 miles, which doesn't seem very long/far.

The bearing was cheap at £21.43 delivered. False economy? I don't do a high mileage.

Hi Doc,
My experience with cheepo parts for LandRovers, (Britparts), says keep well clear, their crap. However, for that money, maybe worth a try. Welche kosten a new original??

Not sure about the cost of a new original, but the last front wheel bearing I had fitted to my van cost about £80 (part only) from the commercial garage I used, and their prices were not usually excessive.
