Keukenhof Tulip Trip

Hi all, we are thinking of making a trip to Holland in April to see the tulips at Keukenhof , can anyone suggest a nice site to stay at close by ?? Thanks John & Mel

We stayed here, http://camperplaatshetgroenehart.nl/en/ their web site says it's 7km from Keukenhof, we cycled it but you can take your camper and park in the car park during the day I think.

Yes, we did the same this year. Site is fine for a night or two and Keukenhof was absolutely magnificent.

May I ask what dates the tulips are available to see?
We will be coming back from Spain and it’s always been on our wish list. Thanks

Log onto the website at the keukenhof they give you a flower update and a prediction when best show. Nothing concrete as regards the weather as the Beast from the East a few years ago put everything back 3 weeks

Don't go too early we went soon after they opened for the year and it had been a cold winter and start to spring. Paid a fortune to see a load of bare earth.
