I go to meet up with old friends and to make new one`s agreed trade stands are not as big as up North but the Motorhome spirit lives on.
I also brought a set recliner chairs, from a visiting funster just at this chance meet. who knows what ?

Strange with such a large population in the SE I wonder why it’s not a bigger show. Many years ago there used to be a large motorhome show at brands hatch, think it was Bromley caravan that had something to do with it.

It doesn't even seem to be on the Rallies calendar!

We usually pop over just for the day as it's only about 1/2 hr drive away but won't be this year as we'll be in France.

Hi i booked on line and up came are you joining a rally club club discount for x2 people , i entered motorhome fun, so hopefully they will stick us all together as usual.

The trouble is there is not many dealers etc in the south.

You're going back a very long time, Bromley Caravans closed down around 15-20 years ago!

Agreed the entertainment is good and FREE, nice company and if you just want the odd Motorhome extra we generally manage to find it here. Prefer a smaller show in a nice spot if we are not on a marathon shopping spree.

We are traders, we cant take enough money to even cover expenses at the Kent show. Plus it takes a long time travelling for us, plus we hate the traffic in the area.
If the show was north of London and the Thames it would attract a lot more traders.

Perhaps it has something to do with the organisers since other shows held on the site seem to do well. I'm sure the exhibitors at those shows can't all be local. In the past the show relied on people being satisfied with a circus for entertainment. If the price is much the same as Warner shows then it needs to improve on what you get for your money. As I recall in the days of Bromley Motor caravan shows there wasn't a great deal of exhibitors but you did get to see saloon car racing as well.
