Kennet & Avon Canal sites near Bath

Would love next year to visit the city of Bath for the first time and would appreciate information of good sites close by with good access onto the Kennet & Avon Canal that we could cycle into Bath on the towpath...

Depends how far you want to be from Bath.
Devizes is a good spot

You can cycle along the towpath in to Bath from the site at Bath Marina.
Alternatively the Park & Ride bus service is just across the road.
Further afield are the C&CC and Three Magpies sites at Sells Green, Devizes.
Both are within a few hundred yards from the Kennet & Avon canal.

Thanks for that. Have just Googled that Site and it fits the bill for our requirements. 2 miles from the city and on the canal with EHU & awning for 7 days at a very reasonable price next May.

Will book it when her indoors gets home later this afternoon.

We walked in from Bath Marina, handy pub stop en route too.

Used marina site couple of times is/was another called the mill or something like but its closed now. If it reopens its s nice site
