Time for a good rinse to get the mud off, then a good quality was wash, oh joy.

Ah, lovely Kendal. I remember it well. Happy days....

First time we’ve been in seven years, definitely a bigger festival than back then, I’ve never seen so many kids off their heads as on the Thursday night, eyes like saucers, but at least no deaths this year, won’t be rushing back, we were at Bath and West for Glastonbury, definitely more organised, booked for blue dot festival next year, hopefully not as many school leavers getting smashed, although I’m sure some parents were even more smashed

OMG ???

Cambridge Rock Festival had similar mud problems, we left Sunday morning, had to get a few guys to give a little push over the mud. Again "we were not expecting rain", bloody hell mate, it's the UK you should always expect rain.

Especially in the Lake District, and at KC, they have the same problems every year

Just your luck im afraid at festivals no way they can have roads hard standing to pitches. Heading to Inverness this weekend for Belladrum hoping for dry weather. ??

That’s us at motocross, most Sunday afternoons, in the wet season.....blooming front wheel drive

I'm heading off to the Lake District in a couple of days for a festival. Piratemania. A thousand people dress up as pirates for the weekend and go geocaching...

I'm expecting to need to be towed out.

I agree to an extent, they only had the plastic tracking down the field and then some intersections off them, if you send a constant stream of vans down one run in area, vans then filter off to pitches then it wouldn’t harm putting more tracking down in my opinion

It's not called "The Lake District " for nothing. Wish us luck as off to Wickham Festival in Hampshire later this week. Mates who are camping have a old Range Rover so I'll take a tow rope.
